I just want to say thank you to everyone who was involved with pod_aware. I'm one of the folks who had only the vaguest idea of what podfic is before I found this comm. All week I have been frantically downloading and listening to so much. Podfic and podcasts both.

I don't know that I'm up for recording my own, but I have certainly become a consumer of podfic over this week! In terms of raising awareness for podficcing, I feel much more informed and I'm really jazzed about burning through some archives and putting my computer through a workout. :)

I'm not always consistent about giving feedback (for various reasons), but that doesn't mean I'm not happy that podfic is out there. That someone has taken the time and put in the effort to record a fic for me to listen to wherever I want to.
